All drivers working with GPU are registered with the transport authorities in their relevant state and country, and we keep copies of this documentation on file. In most cities, a national police check is also undertaken in order for the driver can obtain an official Driver Authority. All drivers on our network are required to be registered and have valid insurances.
As you would expect from a corporate focused transport provider, the vehicles in our fleet are primarily luxury sedans and people movers. Our sedans range from our Holden Caprice business sedan vehicles, through to top of the line BMW and Mercedes executive sedans. Our people movers range from Hyundai Imax vehicles through to Volkswagen Transporters and Mercedes Vianos.
We can fit up to seven passengers in our larger transfer vehicles. We don't currently have stretch limousines on our fleet, but we are able to supply larger buses if required. Simply contact us for a quote and to determine availability.
While we aim to always provide continuity with our private drivers, there are some instances where it will be necessary for us to provide a substitute driver. This is largely due to unexpected flight delays. If your allocated driver is held up by a flight running late from an earlier client, it will sometimes be necessary for us to change your driver. However, we will always keep you updated of any changes via email, and your driver will always provide an SMS upon arrival.
We offer up-front, fully transparent quotes for all individual and business transfers. Our quotes are inclusive of all tolls, parking and airport charges. In Australian cities our quotes (other than Premium Economy) also include certain wait time:
- Standard transfer - 10 minutes
- Airport transfer - domestic pickup - 25 minutes
- Airport transfer - international pickup - 45 minutes
Airport waiting times are taken from when the flight lands. We do not charge extra for late arriving flights. We do charge a reasonable fee for additional wait time for periods exceeding the above, and rates differ from country to country.
